I’m excited to announce that The Pink Pages has gone to press, with an official release date of May 31, 2024 for both paperback and Kindle versions.
Pre-orders are available now on Kindle.
I wrote The Pink Pages to help anyone going through a breast cancer diagnosis, because the journey can be a bit overwhelming. The book includes my own cancer journal, an A-Z guide so readers can look for information quickly, my cancer timeline, and lists of medications, side effects, and resources.
I also include the recipe for my “Crazy Soup” that helped me get through chemo.
Giving Back
A portion of the proceeds from all sales will be donated to the Cancer Navigators and to the Komen Foundation - both groups helped me navigate my own cancer journey, and I’ve seen the help they’ve offered other patients, so I’m grateful to have the opportunity to give back.
Early Reviews of The Pink Pages:
Before going to press, the book was sent to beta readers for their feedback. Here are some of their comments:
“You have pulled together a remarkable book of resources, comforting through your journal, practical, the A-Z list such a good idea to bring information together in one place, and a timeline. There is an end.”
“You are present on every page, nailing the nitty gritty details of the experience, enduring these things with courage, a dependence on the God who will never leave you, and, with no whining nor complaining, you face "whatever" this treatment will throw at you next.”
“The Pink Pages provides a great deal of information about the breast cancer journey, and gave me some new ideas for planning my chemo and post chemo days. I also loved stressing to write things down as you go through them. It is so helpful for me now to go back and compare this treatment to my first treatment.”
Two Friends tell Two Friends
Am I dating myself with that headline? There was a shampoo (I think?) commercial back in the 70s, encouraging everyone to tell two friends who would each then tell two friends, “and so on and so on” to get the word out about the shampoo. (Powerful advertising for me to remember it a few years later, don’t you think?) Would you please help me spread the word about The Pink Pages? Share this post on social media, share the image on Pinterest, tell your friends and family. The more visibility we can give this book, the more we can reach and help people going through their own cancer diagnosis.
Thank you!
