I was raised in a Methodist church, where we participated in choir, Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.

But I didn't understand the "why" of our actions until I was an adult.

At age 22, I was introduced to Jesus. I learned that He
DIED for me! He died so that I could spend forever with God in
Heaven when I die. I asked Him to be Lord and Savior in my life
right then.

Then life happened. Lots of life. I made choices for my life and so
did others. I made so many mistakes and wrong choices.

But God remained the same. He still loved me. I continually struggle
to make the right choices, the right decisions, and I still mess up.
But I'm learning and growing and God loves me anyway!

God loves you, too. Just as you are - mistakes, wrong choices,
whatever your past, present or future. He loves you. Will you let Him be your Lord and Savior too? All you have
to do is ask. Pray this prayer: "Lord, please forgive me for
all the things I've done wrong in my life. I want you as my Lord and
Savior. Will you come into my heart and let me live with you forever?
Thank you for letting your son Jesus die on that cross just for me.
Thank you for forgiving me. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

Simple enough, right? Now, go out and tell your friends. Find a
church if you can - or ask God to send a church to you. (He did that
for me!) You can follow in Jesus' footsteps by getting baptized, then
you can tell the whole world that Jesus died for you too!
